In alignment with Canadian Industry requirements to support data completeness and accuracy, we are implementing the following updates to ECCnet Registry / ProSYNC:

  • Alignment of Global Product Classification Codes (GPC) with global standards
  • New code value and mapping updates aligning with GDSN release 3.1.18/3.1.19

A better way to manage your ecommerce content! Starting May 2, 2022, access your content directly through the eCommerce Content link from the My Tools section of your myGS1 for faster, more efficient management and sharing of your ecommerce content.

From Friday, April 29, 2022 at 9:00 p.m. EST to Monday, May 2, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. EST, the Vault – eCommerce will not be available as we implement the updates.

  • Thumbnail images of the recalled products will be added to all mobile and desktop reporting screens to improve reporting accuracy and turnaround time. Users can leverage the images from ECCnet or upload their own images.
  • Users of ECCnet Recall will be able to mass upload multiple items and multiple batch/lot variations through one upload file. This will drastically reduce the time to create a recall or withdrawal notification and alleviate the need to individually create separate forms for every item variation.
