Medical Device Attribute Navigator Tool

Canadian healthcare providers are ready and waiting for your medical device product data.

GS1 Canada's Healthcare Deployment Committee supports the adoption of Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) data for the medical device community.

The Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) is the world's largest product data network. GDSN makes it possible for any company, in any market, to share product information seamlessly.

How GDSN Works

With GDSN, product content is uploaded, maintained and shared automatically, ensuring trading partners have immediate access to the most current and complete information needed to exchange products on both local and global markets.

The process for the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN). Beginning with sellers, product content flows through GS1 Global Registry to make the data available to buyers.

Medical device manufacturers are encouraged to publish GDSN data specific to the healthcare providers they trade with.

Below, you will find guidance and files featuring the specific product attributes needed to support business processes by individual healthcare providers.

This page will be updated with health provider attribute lists as needed and the information needs may change over time.

If you do not see the healthcare provider you trade with below, please contact GS1 Canada at for further advice.
