Upcoming Enhancements


Upcoming ECCnet Registry enhancements include:

  • Alignment with global standards
  • Updates to align with Health Canada food labelling regulation
  • New and updated attributes:
    • New attributes - Variant Description and Sub-Brand Name
    • Average Servings per Case will now support decimals

We are also updating ECCnet ProSYNC to align with these changes.

  • Move to single-sign on. You will now be able to sign in to Item Centre directly from the My Tools section of myGS1
  • Support for data extracts in excess of 10,000 products

Upcoming enhancements for TrueSource™ Dashboard include:

To expand upon your ability to easily access and review the right product metrics at the right time, we’re making enhancements to TrueSource™ Dashboard with more intuitive navigation to simplify your workflow.

  • For brand owners, you’ll be able to streamline the effort to manage your trading partner requirements as well as your product catalogue needs by switching between views in a new tabbed environment.
  • With an updated ‘sidebar’, key functions such as accessing reports, or performing administration tasks can be easily and quickly accessed from one central location. 
  • Locating exactly what you need at any time will get simpler with a search window now available from any view.

  • Improvements to invoicing and billing processes including
    • Searchable invoice history within myGS1
    • New online tool to display invoice detail by GTIN for content capture related invoices
    • Invoices available in your preferred language based on your myGS1 settings
    • Simplified descriptions for individual line items
    • Streamlined design highlighting key information

  • Ability to inventory product images without needing to extract the images themselves, making it easier to audit content.
  • Improved download handling, including ability to save download settings and ability to align planogram front image with your preferred language
  • The addition of Image Start Date as a field, enabling you to set up embargo dates for your content
  • Added support and flexibility including extra file format and resolution options for content extracts.
